About

Dower Productions is the brainchild of Brisbane-based content producer, consultant, and access coordinator, Stephanie Dower.

With a strong commitment to promoting disability inclusion both on-screen and behind the scenes, Stephanie has worked across short films, TVCs and online content, and is currently developing a slate of bold and aspirational projects. Notable titles include coming-of-age feature film Seeing Scout, which was the recent recipient of the production prize awarded through the global film lab, Attagirl. Also being developed is factual series Carry On, which was selected for the AIDC Pitch FACTory in 2019.

Stephanie is also a co-host of Attitude Foundation’s ReFramed Podcast and is known to speak regularly on matters of accessibility and inclusion, having been appointed as Advisor to Screen Producers Australia Council and to Screen Queensland’s Equity and Diversity Taskforce.

As an accessibility consultant, Stephanie has been an active member of QDeNgage since the program launched in 2019 and more recently has worked as an associate for the Dylan Alcott founded Get Skilled Access, a consultancy firm specialising in disability access and inclusion.
