Storytelling. Disability Advocacy. Authentic Representation.
Dower Productions is the brainchild of Brisbane-based arts producer, writer and editor, Stephanie Dower.
With a strong commitment to promoting disability inclusion both on-screen and behind the scenes, Stephanie has worked across short films, TVCs and online content, and is currently developing a slate of bold and aspirational projects. Notable titles include coming-of-age feature film Seeing Scout, which was the recent recipient of the production prize awarded through the global film lab, Attagirl. Also being developed is factual series Carry On, which was selected for the AIDC Pitch FACTory in 2019.
Bringing fresh characters and new experiences to our screens means we can work to re-shape how society views not only people living with disability, but people from all underrepresented and marginalised groups
